“Slowing down, helped me intentionally make my next move.”

Never sitting still.

In 2022, Anh saw an opportunity. As a former executive of large food manufacturing organization, she had been impacted by a reduction in force, and was considering her next career move.

As she contemplated new roles the recruiting landscape seemed slow and filled with scare opportunities. During this time, she envisioned an idea for company that offered products to help consumers enjoy traditional ethnic food staples, which didn’t compromise on health restrictions or parameters. Her company would have a wide variety of products and highly skilled team members, who could not only help with any product but also help educate the consumer on healthy food options and compliments.

Shortly, after her vision, her company was formed and grew exponentially. A trajectory that grew from idea inception, to the manufacture of two products and $4 million of sales in three years. With solid initial performance, Anh secured a financial partner to help scale and grow her company.

“I have a new investor, and I need help looking at the operations of my company. I understand supply-chain and manufacturing but I’m not sure, where to begin with leadership, culture, enterprise operations?”

The team at Yard Consulting helped Anh curate and execute a purpose driven assessment of her organization which helped her understand which operational levers carried the most impact. We formulated a strategy to clarify the desired impact, refined supporting KPIs, and helped her execute with laser-focus. In remaining cognizant of her company size, our recommendations were nimble, streamlined and easy to manage.

“Yard has helped me understand how strategy and technology can lead the way in elevating the core values and mission of my company. Consumers come to us for support with their lifestyles and this new organizational behavior provides us a platform . . . so we speak to them in ways that matches what they need.”
